I am a former Executive Director of the World Bank (2002-2004), for many decades living abroad always dreaming of my home on the Island of Margarita; from where, on a clear day, I can see Trinidad; and where I can swim in the Caribbean waters... even though we do not appear on any Caribbean map.

Mar-a-Laguna Club

Suddenly, Donald Trump, by 2029 a former president, might decide that to boost tourism on the Margarita Island, and incidentally his own bank account, to revive the once so impressive LagunaMar resort, turning it into an equally magnificent Mar-a-Laguna Club.
